How it all started
This winter I started a new job at Grafton Grill. One day I was hosting and a woman came in to order takeout; she was deaf. After communicating with a piece of piece of paper and lip reading she understood how interested I was with Sign Language. I'll always remember when she taught me to sign "Nice to meet you."
After that experience I was hooked, I loved being able to communicate with her and started googling videos about sign language. I turned to resources I knew had experience, like a few girls in my class who had family members who were deaf. They helped me with the simple communication techniques.
i included a video of the beginning of this inquiry. Although I didn't get very far in this inquiry I was so excited and I plan on continuing this is college.
